You’ve probably noticed already, but good cameras don’t cost much anymore. Feature films have been made using digital stills cameras and HD news reports are being filmed, edited and broadcast from smartphones.
This means that you, your friends, students, your clients, competitors, your mum can all make great films. All you need is some know-how: what kit to use, how to script and storyboard, how to compose a shot and record good sound, how to edit. That’s about it.
