Matt Thurling

Before setting up Bristol Film Academy, Matt worked on digital and film projects for Gorillaz, The Beatles, Electronic Arts and Sony.
Matt has won numerous awards, including a BAFTA for his work on the soundtrack of Ceremony of Innocence.
Having studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Matt remains obsessed with music and sound. He enjoys teaching the basics of musicianship and has a side project on the go with Buzzcocks drummer Danny Farrant. His neighbours in Bristol love his trumpet playing.
Matt also likes to run 10k races.
