iPad filmmaking

View All

The use of iPads in education is a revolution that's only just begun.  One of the most exciting prospects for schools that have bought iPads is filmmaking, because now pupils can shoot, edit and upload with a single device.  Not wishing to overdo it, but as a step in the progress of information technology this is as significant as the Guttenburg press or the invention of television!

CPD

The use of iPads (and other mobile devices with cameras) speeds up and simplifies the process of filmmaking and makes it accessible to all teachers and pupils, not just the Media Studies department.  Filmmaking in education, as in the outside world, is becoming a core skill because devices keep getting more powerful and more universal.

iPad filmmaking is a new course for teachers' continuing professional development (CPD) in schools that have invested in iPads.
